CoverMyMeds Response
4yFirst, let me say that we appreciate you taking time to share your feedback. CoverMyMeds constantly looks for ways to support our staff and their families — especially those returning from family leave. As a mother myself, I know how challenging this time can be for parents, even at the best of times. The support our company provides our staff, including parents, encompasses support to help smooth the transition back into an individual’s role, flexible schedules, the use of adaptable PTO and more.
We take seriously the concerns you raise in this review, just as we do the employee experience we create for all our staff. I’m personally familiar the situation described and believe that the way in which it was presented was not communicated as clearly as it could have been. We must balance the needs of a fast moving, high-growth company with available resources. As a valued employee, we believed we were giving you a comparable role to return to — a role where you had great opportunity to continue your projected growth and development while meeting your stated career goals. I apologize that the circumstances were not clearly positioned this way to you in initial conversation. We recognize the opportunity for better communication on all fronts, so for that thank you for raising your concerns.
I regularly interact with parents as they are re-entering our workforce. They overwhelming describe a very positive experience and how they feel supported as they navigate working and having a family. I sincerely apologize that this was not your experience. We wish you all the best in your new role, appreciate your contributions to our business and remain committed to making CoverMyMeds your best place to work and grow. Please feel free to reach out to me directly to continue our conversation.
