Pros
I began my journey at Creospark as a Marketing Co-op student almost a year ago. From the get-go, the people (full-time employees + other coop students) I worked with were a big reason why I realized I liked to work here. My work felt appreciated, communication was open and encouraged, and everyone had a welcoming and positive attitude. Task-wise I got to work on a variety of items and management would ask if there were certain areas I wanted more exposure/input on - making me feel important and heard. I got valuable experience and learned a lot about the industry and marketing during this time. I went on to work part-time while I finished my studies and now full-time as a marketing coordinator. The team was understanding of my schedule during this time and management was very helpful through the transition process. As the company grows, there have been more diverse tasks and exciting projects to work on. This industry can be very fast-paced so continuous learning and adaptability have been key skills. Overall, I really enjoy working here and am excited to continue growing and learning in this role.
Cons
A fully remote environment could be considered a con if you perform better in hybrid/in-person workspaces. However, in my experience, this was more of a pro.
