Pros

There are no positives to working here, Very, very toxic.

Cons

Not a single manager here cares about the employees. The executive leadership is a boys club. Everyone is fearful. They threaten you when you leave. Run away from this place.

Pros

The Mission: The work Cybersheath does in the CMMC and defense industrial base space is truly honorable and necessary. Helping contractors secure their infrastructure is a mission you can be proud of. The Customers: Generally very easy to work with, have great intentions, and truly want to improve their security posture. The Staff: The individual contributors and peers are the heartbeat of the company. There are some incredibly talented engineers and IT professionals here who have their hearts in the right place and work hard despite the obstacles.

Cons

Toxic Leadership: The primary issue is at the top. Leadership is fundamentally unable—or unwilling—to take constructive feedback. Suggestions for improvement, even those backed by data or industry standards, are often met with defensiveness or are outright ignored. Inability to Evolve: There is a rigid refusal to honor suggestions for operational improvement. Because of this, the workplace remains a high-friction, toxic environment where "keeping your head down" is rewarded more than innovation. Employee Burnout & Turnover: If you look at certain teams, it is a revolving door. Good people are constantly looking for the exit because they feel unsupported and unheard. You can only sustain a "hero culture" for so long before your best talent leaves for organizations that value their expertise. As one of the other reviews mentions, worse job I've had and I thought it might be different then theirs.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective and for recognizing the importance of CyberSheath’s mission, our customers, and our team's dedication. We are proud that many who have worked here feel strongly about protecting the Defense Industrial Base and contributing to national security. We also acknowledge the concerns you raised. CyberSheath has been going through a natural leadership and organizational transition since mid-summer as we continue to grow and scale. Periods of change can create uncertainty, and we understand that not everyone experiences that transition the same way. Constructive feedback is critical for a growing company like CyberSheath, where continuous improvement is required to stay ahead of evolving risks. The leadership team is actively focused on strengthening communication channels, gradually improving management cadence, clarifying lines of accountability, and ensuring that subject matter expertise is heard and incorporated into how we operate. We are also placing increased emphasis on clearer priorities/objectives and professional development. We appreciate the contributions you made during your time here and the candid feedback you shared. Building a culture where talented professionals can innovate, contribute, and grow while advancing a mission that matters remains a core priority for us. We wish you success in your next chapter.
