If there is one upside to working here, it is that you develop an almost supernatural tolerance for nonsense. You stop reacting to chaos because your brain eventually accepts it as the default operating system. Everything feels urgent, everything feels monitored, and somehow you still learn to function inside it like it is normal life. You also become extremely skilled at corporate translation. “Quick call” means your evening is gone. “Small update” means a full status report. “ASAP” means abandon whatever you are doing immediately, including basic human needs. This place turns you into someone who can decode emotional pressure disguised as professional communication. Another hidden benefit is clarity. After this experience, you will never again confuse a healthy workplace with a toxic one. The contrast becomes so obvious that even basic respect starts to feel like luxury hospitality.

Calling this micromanagement would be an insult to actual management. This was more like digital supervision with anxiety as a fuel source. Work was not just tracked, it was constantly interrogated. Silence was not neutral. It was suspicious. If you did not respond fast enough, it did not feel like you were busy. It felt like you were being audited. Urgency here was not a tool. It was a personality disorder. Everything was urgent. A typo fix. A routine question. A task that had existed peacefully for weeks suddenly becoming life or death at 11 PM. When everything is urgent, nothing is. But logic does not survive long in environments powered by panic and ego. Sick days were treated like a theoretical concept that HR forgot to delete from the handbook. Being unwell did not reduce expectations. It just changed the location from office to bed while still expecting availability. Rest was not respected. It was negotiated. And usually rejected. Now the HR department. HR here was not a support system. It was a forwarding service. If you had a problem, you did not get resolution. You got acknowledgement. Sometimes. Eventually. After enough follow ups that you started to wonder if the issue needed a separate HR request just to track the HR response. Their main function seemed to be reminding employees that policies exist while ensuring none of them are actually enforced in real situations involving management behavior. Immigration support was another masterpiece of inefficiency. Anything related to visas, onboarding, renewals, or basic documentation turned into a waiting game where you were always one missing email away from chaos. Questions were answered late, inconsistently, or with so little clarity that you ended up doing your own research anyway. You would expect a department dealing with legal status to be precise and reliable. Instead it often felt like a guessing game where your residency depended on how persistent you were at sending reminders. The pattern across both HR and immigration was consistent. When employees needed help, the system became slow. When the company needed something from employees, the system became instant. That imbalance said everything that needed to be said. Micromanagement from leadership combined with silence from HR created a very specific environment. You were constantly monitored, but rarely supported. Constantly corrected, but rarely heard. Constantly reachable, but rarely helped.

Pay is terrible.. work load increases but pay stays the same. Ten cent or less pay increase every year. No room for advancement. A lot of favoritism in office, management trains new hires incorrectly and employees have to Pick up the slack. There is no respect in office from management to employees. No assistance from management. You get talked at , not talked to like an adult. Management will clock you out if you go over a minute of your 15 minute break, you are expected to tell management when you are going to the restroom and they will contact you while in bathroom. Policies are not followed.
