Pros

It’s a job, plain and simple. Production workers are the best part of working here.

Cons

Brutal hours (50–70+ per week) with little regard for work/life balance. Unless it is a slow month and you aren’t in the plant managers favor, your hours will get cut to 28-32 hours a week. Pay doesn’t match responsibility or effort. Management prioritizes executive bonuses over employee well-being. Leadership changes create inconsistent support and blame-shifting. Toxic workplace culture with low morale. Poor processes and insufficient resources force improvisation. Safety takes a backseat to hitting production numbers. High turnover Expected to drop all your plans for the weekend if management determines OT is needed on a Friday.
