Pros

There is no pros, however, there are a lot of hours if you would like to work them, however, they will not pay you OT.

Cons

Pays you at different rates for different courier routes instead of at your hired rate, which is against FLSA. Owner and puppet managers claim that you can't add OT for hours worked over 40 from a different pay rate. If you work 40 hours doing a pharmacy route at $11 hour in a week and an extra 20 hours doing a paycheck run for a total of 60 hours. Your paycheck will show 40 hours of pay at $11 and 20 hours for paycheck run at $9 with no OT. Assclown owner claims you have to work over 40 hours in the paycheck run to get OT and that you can't claim the 20 hours OT because it's at a different pay scale. Owner is a crook and abuses his employees by taking advantage of them. No wonder it's a revolving door with their employees and that they can't retain the ones they have.

Pros

I have worked for GSSS for over 4 years and still love where I work. I work with people I get along with. Things are always moving, I rarely get bored. Which I hated most about previous jobs, the down time or the monotonous tasks that never change.

Cons

Like any other job, there are some cons to the job. A few people that we all wish weren't working for the company, long days sometimes, stress during the busy season, and drivers not listening when needed. But every job has this and you the good out weigh the bad.

Pros

Most of the people you’ll work with (sorters, drivers, lower management, fleet, etc) are incredible and some of the hardest working people you’ll ever meet, and they’re worth knowing.

Cons

You could show up everyday for work, do well, and get the job done with no issues...but the one time you have an emergency of any kind, the day you call out or have to leave early it’s like everything good you ever did no longer counts/matters. The managers will more than likely overwork you without gratitude. The morale company wide is the worst I’ve seen...but that’s the Granite State Shuttle way.
