Pros

Decent Pay, A lot of good and intelligent people, unlimited PTO

Cons

The CEO is in between a rock and a hard place. They sold the company to Goldman Sachs and now it's clear that Goldman makes the important decisions and not Leadership. This has facilitated a gigantic change in the company DNA. It used to be a company where employees felt valued, had equity, and were moving the ball forward. However with the recent leadership changes, employees don't feel valued, don't have equity (except for a few select C-Level execs), and don't feel like the company is moving in the right direction. All employees were told the GS acquisition would be a great thing, but it was only a good thing for the co-founders to pad their pockets and they seemingly don't make the decisions anymore and honestly don't seem to care. The Leadership Team has Ask Me Anything's but they seem to dance around the difficult questions w/ a lack of transparency.

Thanks for sharing your perspective from your time here at HUMAN. It is true that this past year has been filled with a lot of change for the organization and our leadership. We have had unprecedented growth while changing ownership at the same time. This naturally causes turbulence and “storming” within the team. For us this was also a learning opportunity. One of our core values is humility, which is important in acknowledging what you do not know or can do better. Therefore please know that we appreciate any open and honest feedback, and will strive to find ways we can do and be better, always

Pros

- Benefits and stipends - Pay - (Some) people :)

Cons

There are too many to name. If you're thinking of joining HUMAN Security, don't. There is no strategy, no direction, Product functions like a mess and there's too much coddling. The company feel overly reactive, priorities shift quickly and teams are expected to adjust in real time. Cross functional alignment is not always strong, which can create confusion around ownership, timelines, and decision making. Depending on the team, communication from leadership may not always provide enough clarity on long term strategy, leaving employees to navigate ambiguity more than they should. At times, high performers can end up carrying a disproportionate amount of the operational load, especially in roles that sit between teams and functions.
