Pros

HOPCo is a company with real purpose and real opportunity. The work matters, the mission is compelling, and there is a strong sense that the organization is building toward something important. I am optimistic about where the company is headed and appreciate the opportunity to work alongside talented people who care deeply about improving outcomes and creating long-term value. This is a place where leaders and team members can have meaningful influence, especially if they are comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.

Cons

The company is growing and evolving, which naturally brings change and occasional ambiguity. That environment is not for everyone, but for people who are adaptable and solutions-oriented, it can be a very rewarding place to contribute.

Pros

Pros: Honestly, it's a chaos. It overwhelms many and turnover is high. "Throw them in the water and see if they drown" was a phrase I heard often from leadership when bringing on new hires. If you can brave it though, there is a lot of opportunity to get this thing back on the rails and create something more efficient. The pay was above what's reasonable, probably bc this company will pay a premium for smart people willing to endure.

Cons

This is a cutthroat environment. In staff meetings, leadership will talk about respect as a core value, but behind closed doors, leadership talks about staff like they're disposable. At the end of the day, every employee is just a body in a chair. The incompetence is staggering. As is the seeming disconnect between executive management and leadership. The people at the very top are smart but every day I wondered if they were aware of the situation on the ground and the way this company is holding itself together with hopium and duct tape.
