Pros

Good pay believe in what I'm doing for the community. Feel like I make a difference for patients. Good kitchen crew.

Cons

99% turnover in 8 years in the kitchen. Now company is reducing our hours .We have more and more work as 2 other departments have shifted responsibilities on us. We have 2 managers neither will cover shifts work weekends or early mornings We don't get a weekends differential like nursing. If we don't use our PTOS and max out the company takes them back. We can't cash them out either.

Pros

It's very fast pace and the acuity of the units is always varying. Great training that left me feeling equipped to handle the interesting situations that arise.

Cons

Some of the patients are a little sketchy.
