After Ivy bought our company, we became a mill. It’s been all downhill since - Physical Therapy Ivy Rehab Network Employee Review

Pros

I liked my immediate team, but not management

Cons

Ivy changed our company into a full blown mill prioritizing profits over the care of patients and employees. Many burnt out employees have left since the takeover with more continuing to leave. Patients are complaining how busy it is, the limited 1:1 time with therapists, and unusual billing charges. Management is aware, but doesn’t care to improve things. They initially made things sound promising just like their job postings, but they’re NOT true to their mission and values. Benefits and incentives have heavy conditionals with trade offs. For example, they said our PTO will “increase,” but it’s actually worse now due to slow accrual, sick days being included, and requiring an equal amount of coverage days or patient caseload to be made up. Our company is now a revolving door of new grads who leave for better and new patients who don’t know any better. What Ivy is selling is not true and it’s certainly not worth the ridiculous productivity or the challenge dealing with management. You can do better.

Pros

High base salary , remote , some job security based on people always quitting

Cons

Burnout central. Constantly shifting priorities, moving timelines, and unclear expectations create a chaotic environment where it is difficult to succeed sustainably. Leadership within the finance umbrella was disappointing — limited trust, poor support, and a culture where people can feel expendable when private equity pressure intensifies. Compensation and benefits were underwhelming relative to expectations, particularly the 401(k) match, which was far below market and frankly disappointing. There was also a persistent atmosphere of distrust, frequent organizational uncertainty, and seemingly random layoffs that contributed to low morale. Rather than feeling supported, it often felt like self-preservation was the operating model. There are talented people here and meaningful work, but leadership, burnout, and instability significantly outweighed the positives for me.
