      You do get paid on time

      Cons

      You must work 2 days a week and get ready to be bombarded with messages from staff who do not understand what it’s like to be a sub. Often there isn’t enough work and majority of the schools are god awful.

      Pros

      - Flexible schedule - Good pay considering PT - Depending on the school, a long-term subbing position could lead to a permanent teaching position.

      Cons

      - Inconsistency in available positions. There are weeks where it's busy and weeks where it's slow and it's hard to find work for at least two days.
