Pros

I have been with Learning Care Group for 18 years and became a Certified Master Teacher in 2016. Throughout my time with the company, I have had the opportunity to grow professionally while doing what I love—helping young children learn and develop. One of the things I appreciate most about Learning Care Group is the strong focus on early childhood education and the support provided to teachers. The company offers ongoing training and professional development, which has helped me strengthen my teaching skills and continue growing in my career. Programs like the Master Teacher initiative encourage educators to lead, mentor others, and share best practices across classrooms. The work itself is incredibly rewarding. Every day I get to build relationships with children and families and play a role in helping children develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. The environment is caring and collaborative, and many of the educators I work with truly care about making a difference in children’s lives. Overall, it has been a meaningful and fulfilling career for me, and I’m grateful to be part of a company that values education, teamwork, and the positive impact we can make on children and families every day. We have an extraordinary supportive team environment, professional development opportunities, meaningful work with children and families, opportunities to grow as an educator.

Cons

Like many roles in early childhood education, the work can be busy and demanding at times, but the relationships with the children and families make it worthwhile. Pay increases can sometimes be gradual, and I do feel that raises don’t always keep pace with experience or tenure of my position. They do offer insurance benefits but I do feel that over the years they have not only increased in the price but the care of providers has significantly decreased and we do not have as many options to choose doctors. My child’s pediatrician she has had for 15 years is no longer available on my plan, which was extremely heartbreaking.

Pros

Positive atmosphere within individual schools. Great support amongst teaching staff and school directors.

Cons

Corporate managers have no clue what classroom management actually looks like. They make policies that aren't practical and hold school admin accountable for things outside of their control. They care about profit only.
