Pros
- accelerated growth - great place to start and learn from very tenured people - friendly work environment - great perks (access to all HQ locations, free snacks and lunches at the end of the month) - great place to create a network of intelligent/hard working people with many connections throughout the triangle - proximity to management
Cons
* other's experiences may have been different, this is strictly my own... - low transparency between upper management and employees - little to no regard for work/life balance - pay is NOT competitive - alcohol used as an incentive or reward way too often, not everyone is partial to this - metrics are much higher than most other well established businesses in the area as well as other startups - long hours every day - trainings are often scheduled during times that should be off limits (early morning, lunch, weekends etc.) - managers have a hard time sticking to training schedules - direct supervisors are often immature, rude and condescending but "corporate" when they need to be - no opportunity to work from home - no work bonding opportunities (outings, community service, etc.)
