Fast growing start up but lots of pain points
Pros
The senior leadership team for the most part is great. Experienced crew. Product has a lot of potential Growing fast even during COVID 50% of leadership is women
Cons
*Speaking specifically about the sales department* - long hours (8:30am-6pm minimum, later if you aren’t tracking towards goals) - commission structure is tough. For SDRs, only paid out on deals closed NOT opportunities, but are expected to book 3 meetings per day. Results in SDRs booking bogus/unqualified deals just to hit the insane metrics - unlimited PTO but you are basically encouraged not to take time off. You operate on a month to month sales cycle so more than 2 days off your basically guaranteed to not hit your quota. - don’t make any commission until you hit an accelerator which is typically more than 50% of your quota - very little structure or management when it comes to promotions - sales reps are treated like children - vastly underpaid compared to industry norm - very little training for employees - very high turnover. Most employees who have written the other reviews on here are employees who’ve worked I would guess at Levitate for less than one year and are still bright eyed and bushy tailed. I could count on one hand the amount of employees with more than a year of experience still there on the sales side, seems like everyone leaves or gets fired and management says nothing - very little empathy shown to employees
