Pros

The senior leadership team for the most part is great. Experienced crew. Product has a lot of potential Growing fast even during COVID 50% of leadership is women

Cons

*Speaking specifically about the sales department* - long hours (8:30am-6pm minimum, later if you aren’t tracking towards goals) - commission structure is tough. For SDRs, only paid out on deals closed NOT opportunities, but are expected to book 3 meetings per day. Results in SDRs booking bogus/unqualified deals just to hit the insane metrics - unlimited PTO but you are basically encouraged not to take time off. You operate on a month to month sales cycle so more than 2 days off your basically guaranteed to not hit your quota. - don’t make any commission until you hit an accelerator which is typically more than 50% of your quota - very little structure or management when it comes to promotions - sales reps are treated like children - vastly underpaid compared to industry norm - very little training for employees - very high turnover. Most employees who have written the other reviews on here are employees who’ve worked I would guess at Levitate for less than one year and are still bright eyed and bushy tailed. I could count on one hand the amount of employees with more than a year of experience still there on the sales side, seems like everyone leaves or gets fired and management says nothing - very little empathy shown to employees

Pros

- accelerated growth - great place to start and learn from very tenured people - friendly work environment - great perks (access to all HQ locations, free snacks and lunches at the end of the month) - great place to create a network of intelligent/hard working people with many connections throughout the triangle - proximity to management

Cons

* other's experiences may have been different, this is strictly my own... - low transparency between upper management and employees - little to no regard for work/life balance - pay is NOT competitive - alcohol used as an incentive or reward way too often, not everyone is partial to this - metrics are much higher than most other well established businesses in the area as well as other startups - long hours every day - trainings are often scheduled during times that should be off limits (early morning, lunch, weekends etc.) - managers have a hard time sticking to training schedules - direct supervisors are often immature, rude and condescending but "corporate" when they need to be - no opportunity to work from home - no work bonding opportunities (outings, community service, etc.)

Pros

Literally nothing.. this job caused me long lasting mental health issues and shattered my confidence in both my personal and professional career.

Cons

Management will be your best friend and hype you up when you’re having a good day and hitting their unattainable numbers then turn around the next day and tear you apart in front of everyone and make you stay until 8pm just to book one more trash demo that will never sale bc you’re having an off day. They make unfulfilled promises and base promotions solely off favoritism and who they can control the most. NOT OFF TALENT BC THE TALENT THEY DO MAGICALLY GET HERE AND THERE ALWAYS LEAVE!! Take it from me though their commission structure is terrible and all this money they tell you you’ll make and this next sharefile type story they shove down your throat is never gonna happen… SO RUN FAST … your mental health, outlook on life and your bank account will thank you later. I’ll end on this some of the things higher up said to me and told me to my face while I worked there better be glad there wasn’t an HR because they wouldn’t be there today.. karma will get y’all though ;) ALSO 100% ASKING NEW HIRES TO POST 5 STAR REVIEWS AND MAKE IT SEEM LIKE THE MOST AMAZING JOB ON EARTH … DONT FALL FOR IT. THEY DRANK THE KOOLAID
