Pros

Good benefit package and flexibility (some managers will use it against you though)

Cons

Need to be well liked by the seniors/managers or you day-to-day will be very difficult (favouritism is a norm here). Speaking up for yourself or voicing out means disobediance. A very senior used this phrase heavily “jangan naik kepala we can do anything we want”. Difficult senior team members will even go out of the ways to dig up your mistakes and plot a PIP on you (I have it on recording). That summed it all. Seriously high turnover rate from resignations to terminations (esp probation) from younger generations. The work itself is very clerical and very skill-downgrading if you have a solid legal practising background.

Pros

Great benefits, vacation time, culture.

Cons

Very set in their ways because they are such an established company.

Reviews like this reflect what long-term careers here often look like in practice. LexisNexis operates at the intersection of trusted content, human expertise, and AI-powered workflows that support professionals across legal, corporate, and government sectors. The scale and responsibility of that work are part of what shape the experience, along with the benefits and flexibility you mentioned. In an established organization, there is naturally a level of structure that supports consistency and reliability. Alongside that, teams are continually refining how they work, finding more efficient paths, and building new capabilities as the business evolves. Much of that progress happens through day-to-day work, where individuals take on new challenges, collaborate across teams, and help move ideas into action. That balance between stability and ongoing improvement is what allows the business to keep moving forward while maintaining the trust customers expect. Thanks for your continued contribution and for taking the time to share your experience.

Pros

PTO, colleagues that became great friends

Cons

untamable sales goals, never having your goals on time, terrible benefits, terrible raises if you got one at all, comp plans are terrible, your goals would go up, but your percentage of pay would go down. The better you did in sales, the next each your goals would increase significantly. Making it harder and harder to reach your goals year after year. Someone would leave the company, get fired or retire, that work gets piled onto you and there is no compensation for it. More work, less pay.
