Pros

Product is great. Warranties are great. That is all I can think of.

Cons

Was once a family structured company. Management puts fear into the teams to try and gain control. That is only counterproductive. 1.don’t ever expect time off 2. Forget about being human, my mother in law passed and I could not even go to her funeral, honestly to afraid to ask. There is a known chopping block of people they will be getting rid of. 3. No commission, there was for a short time, but they pulled it. Try explaining that to your team. In all my years of selling High end furniture there was always an incentive. The saying goes, put smaller chips at the poker table, get smaller returns. 4. Too much to put here. It was the most wonderful place. There is too many who would of done anything for this company. Me included. 4. Upper management-horrific, don’t expect to be heard unless you want career Suicide.

Pros

- Generous PTO for Full-Time employees - Great product that customers testify about for years after they purchase - Solid benefits package for Full-Time employees - Flexible Scheduling - Simple job with ample downtime; great first gig for students or anyone looking to start in sales

Cons

- Not a lot of customers during the weekdays, so time can pass by extra slowly; depends on store location. - Very limited opportunities to move up for Part-Time and Full-Time Associates as Assistant Manager positions have been eliminated for most stores (unless considered a high volume location). - No commission earned on high $ value product, but are still expected to sell like you are -- as each person has a sales goal to meet. Additional payout incentives are based on store performance only, it doesn't matter if you're killing it at the individual level. - Pay depending on position. Full-Time Associate sometimes being paid the same as a part-time employee. - Fulfillment team and delivery partners create unnecessary chaos, which lead to irate customers that take frustration out on store reps.
