Pros

It is a paying job with a free over-crowded parking lot and located at a good location. When considering Digital Pharmacist discuss employee turnover and speak with tenured employees. You should be aware of who you speak with, just like the company representative that responded to a review "you have to be in with the CEO and your manager". I wouldn't suggest speaking with them. I wished before moving forward I would have spoken to several tenured employees. Please read the cons sections regarding reviews and Digital Pharmacist responses. I labeled all reviews except one section which is mentioned over and over. If you don't find anything you don't disagree with in the cons section, Digital Pharmacist may be a great fit for you. I just want you to remember once your in the clique, you have to stay in clique or you'll be unemployed.

Cons

Review: Proud to work here “after all we’re evaluated and compensated based on our clients’ success” Employees are compensated by signing up the account and collecting the first three months payments and sales evaluations are based on quota attainment, there is no residual income, this statement is untrue. That statement is commonly used on sales calls. The calls are not monitored for Quality Assurance, yet are recorded. That is why I have had customers ask me why reviews they are getting in their trackable dashboard are not being posted on their facebook and website like the sales rep told them when explaining the social media portion. Facebook does not allow companies to go in, use someone else's facebook account and post a review to that pharmacies facebook business page. I personally do not think misleading a customer is focusing on the customer’s success, this is just one example of what I would hear daily from customers. Review: Sales “Amazing hires over the last 6-months which has transformed this startup to a real player in the industry.” The new leadership and employees have backgrounds at Web.com / Yodle. These employees now run the sales team plus customer success, and almost every new hire is from that type of sweatshop mentality. They are happy to be away from the minimal base pay. I have been told the script they now use is an adapted version of the Yodle / Mainstreet Hub process. Check out the reviews for overly aggressive sales reps, that is what will be next for Digital Pharmacist reviews online if it continues. Review: Several “management encourages positive reviews” No, I was never been asked to go to Glassdoor to place a review online. Although, when your manager or the executive team discusses with you how these reviews are affecting getting new talent in all departments and we really need more talent to make things better for you, you are indirectly being encouraged to write reviews. Look at the recent influx of reviews, coincidence or discussions that slightly encourage reviews from management? These happy reviews in their cons section say things like “You don't make it here if you aren't competent” or “Disgruntled former employees motivated to write false reviews. Also, current employees that are unhappy. I'm just unsure why they are here and don't look elsewhere for employment." That doesn’t sound like a very supportive or family type culture described in the positive reviews. It is quite a coincidence that the employees cons are so involved with other reviews vs their own opinions. (Light Bulb) Review: “steer clear” look at the companies response “We hope you resign tomorrow and go on fulfill your dreams elsewhere. You are clearly very, very unhappy at Digital Pharmacist. You do not have to work here and we don't want you to be here if it doesn't make you happy.” plus "You have to be "in with the CEO' to get ahead". Yes you do - welcome to business! You better be in with the CEO and you better be in with your manager, if you want to get ahead. You do that by meeting or exceeding goals and contributing great ideas and positive energy." I can tell you the the representative that wrote that has not been with the company very long. When I left there wasn’t a that position was open. I know for a fact this reeks of the temperament of the CEO and / or new leadership. This response speaks for how the company values their employees, and how they are not open to taking any feedback they do not like.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback and for being with Lumistry for several years. We’re glad you’re seeing and feeling the benefits of the increased accountability and new work frameworks we’re putting in place. This is very much a redefining moment for the company, and it’s encouraging to hear from Team Members who are leaning into that change and helping shape what comes next. We also agree that change can be hard. Our goal is to support our Teams through it with clearer expectations, better communication, and a stronger connection between our work and the value we deliver to our Customers. We appreciate your encouragement to keep up the momentum. It truly is an exciting time to be at Lumistry, and voices like yours make a real difference.

Pros

The people. Some really great people work there still and used to work there.

Cons

Burnout is everywhere. Priorities constantly change, expectations are unclear, and people are expected to just figure it out. Deadlines are missed because teams are pulled in too many directions at once. Layoffs and restructures happen so often that uncertainty becomes part of the job. Decisions feel rushed, communication is poor, and every new change seems to create more work and more stress. Benefits have steadily gotten worse while workloads continue to increase, and meaningful raises are hard to come by despite taking on more responsibility. Leadership says a lot of good things, but it's hard to take those messages seriously when people are constantly stretched thin, burned out, and worried about what's coming next.
