Pros
The company as a whole might be a good one but if you are in a toxic department you won't see any pro's for working here.
Cons
The environment within their payroll department is one of the most toxic environments I've witnessed. My first day I was told to not use my actual job title because it upset someone in the department who was not given the same title. I was not permitted to use my official job title until after this person received their promotion. Do not start an employee off on their first day telling them someone on the team already dislikes them. Not that I think it would matter because the employees (90%) that have been with that department for awhile (small handful since the turnover is so high in this department) are not there to be team players. The amount of negativity spread just from a few select individuals would not permit anyone to come into that department and feel anything positive. The work load is extremely unbalanced and management is a joke. I was told that "the department is better than it used to be but we just can't seem to make it any better." That basically sums up this department and I don't foresee it ever getting better based on the management and senior team members they have with the exception of one. I read all the reviews about PRO before accepting their offer (which as management liked to remind me they "jumped through hoops" to get me hired...that was their choice to make.) and thought based on the reviews of other departments it would be worth the gamble. Biggest mistake of my career. Not only did it suck the life out of me for 7 months but it was also a step backward in my career as it's mainly data entry and customer service. I will never recommend anyone work for PRO within their payroll department.
