Pros

1. Post pandemic, remote work is now the norm. So if you prefer working from home or some exotic location, this place is for you. 2. Sometimes the company jumps on the bay area bandwagon and implements things like 'summer slow down' or 'DashPass'. The perks make the job marginally more palatable. 3. If you're on the 'it list' you'll get taken on day hikes to 'bond' with the wider org or you may be given a retention bonus so you won't leave. (Con if you're not on this exclusive list).

Cons

1. The new leadership team is a brutal mix of uncaring, unfeeling dictators. It's their way or the high way. 2. It doesn't matter how hard you work, you'll never get promoted or given a salary increase beyond 2.5%. Even with outstanding performance reviews. 3. If you're unhappy there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Your manager doesn't care about your happiness - only the bottom line. And their manager reinforces that. 4. Men and women are treated differently - from salary and equity distributions (a male counterpart has shared that he was given far more options than the females in the same role) to on-the-job treatment/perks. 5. This company went from being "too nice" (so they say) to a place where manners and common decency no longer exist.

Pros

The culture is unmatched compared to other places I've worked. The people are all very nice, and I feel super welcomed here. I know that I can make a meaningful impact. I feel enabled to perform at a high level without getting burnt out quickly. The company is fully remote, there is unlimited PTO, and the pay is really competitive. I know what the company's mission is, and I want to work towards achieving it. The CEO still takes time to meet with new hires and answer questions.

Cons

The onboarding process is still in development and could be improved. The devices are limited to use in the US so working internationally is not allowed.

Pros

Omada has been one of the best places I’ve worked. The mission is genuine and you can feel it in how decisions get made and how people show up every day. The team is smart, collaborative, and actually kind, which isn’t something you can say everywhere. Leadership is transparent, and there’s a real culture of trust and autonomy. The work is meaningful and you can see the impact.

Cons

Honestly hard to think of one. Like any growing company, things move fast and priorities shift, but that’s also what makes it exciting.
