Pros

This company is solid, and it is well maintaned inside and out. They have a good staff, and they will not hesitate to pay for training on the right individuals. Management is knowledgeable, and they will share the wealth if there is a good year via bonuses. There are many employees that have been there for decades. They stay on top of new technology, and always look to improve. Plenty of overtime available, and sometimes required. Great communication between everyone, and they make a serious effort to keep everyone informed on the happenings of the company.

Cons

Relaxed / playful atmosphere on the floor or in the offices doesn't always work for serious people, so if you can't laugh at a burp or tell people how your weekend was, this might not be a place for you. But they take important matters seriously, and attendance is important.

Pros

Good benefits and great coworkers on the line.

Cons

Favoritism from upper management. Reviews really not given on ability, loyalty or willingness to learn. While at PTA I excelled at the job I was hired for and frequently asked for more training. I was ignored for my request and the chance for advanced training went to those employees that were close friends (you may say) of management. The out of state advanced training amounted to a mini vacation, for those chosen. Expensive meals and nights out at the bar. I had to hear this from the chosen ones when they returned. I left to find a place that respected me for my abilities, I found one. Ironically my last review stated I that I was not interested in advancing my skills. I looked at the possibility of going back to PTA but luckily changed my mind when I saw that most of the same management were still there.
