They were quick to bring me in initially

Worked 6 hours from October 2023 through April 2023 Only received a butt dial in November 2023 where they told me "hopefully we'll have something for you soon." Tried to reach out to get updates on my position to no avail for months Only received a reply once I said due to their lack of response I was assuming I was let go and needed to file for unemployment Me: "Hey just checking in. It's been awhile since I've heard anything from ya'll, was under the impression when I got hired that I'd be working a little more." No response for 2 days Me: "I'm going to assume from the lack of response that I've been let go and need to start filing for unemployment. This has been extremely unprofessional and I will be sure to share my experience." 1st Response: "Hey buddy, sorry I missed your previous text. We have several on call technicians that we rotate through on an as needed basis. There may be some full time positions through another AV company in town. Keep your eye out for that." 2nd Response: "I can also recommend a few labor brokers that you could work through if you need that info." Me: "First, don't call me buddy. I appreciate the opportunity but you cannot deny how unprofessional this looks. I went months without working or hearing anything about my position, it's ridiculous." 3rd Response: "Sory if there was a misunderstanding about what part time on call is. If you would like contact information for a few local labor brokers please let me know." Me: "I think I'll take my trust elsewhere, plenty of places willing to help a disabled person find a reliable job. Hope you communicate better with your other employees."
