If the company doesn’t have strong policies or programs in place to help those affected by natural disasters, it can lead to frustration among employees who need support. Focus on Cost-Cutting: The company's emphasis on layoffs to reduce costs may harm employee morale and hinder long-term growth and job satisfaction. Minimal Career Development or Retraining: With layoffs being frequent, there may be little investment in employee growth, reskilling, or career advancement, leaving workers feeling stagnant. Employees may feel that the company prioritizes financials over employee welfare, especially in times of personal hardship like after a natural disaster. If you still work here, I would start looking for a better place.
