Pros
Free standby flights anywhere in the US and cheap international flights is an amazing asset that they offer at Republic Airways. I utilize this resource as often as I can!
Cons
There are quite a lot of positions here that don’t offer you a lot of time to use your flight benefits. It’s helpful if you work 4 10hr days - which I have seen in some departments. But a lot of departments require 5 8hrs days and employees get stuck only being able to travel a few times a year. With the cost of the benefits coming out of your pay, it feels like being robbed when you’re not using them.
