Pros
Great, fun employees that make an effort to get to know you
Cons
Management plays "favorites" among the departments. Some departments get large amount of perks & benefits (free gym memberships, free dinner every night, travel, etc.) but other departments are expected to operate without such benefits or the support needed to do their job. Management doesn't think that employees will talk amongst each other in a time where it is not taboo to discuss money/salary, benefits, etc. anymore. They use flashy events and perks like stocked fridge and coffee bar, company conferences, boat cruises, hunting events, travel opportunities, happy hours, golf events, etc. to cover up the fact that they don't pay you enough to get by, promise raises and then don't follow through. They encourage you to live at their properties for a "discounted rent" rate but refuse to acknowledge that your salary wouldn't even cover rent let alone other living expenses. Boasts that they have a 40% turnover rate annually but refuses to do anything to fix that problem.
