Inconsistent, Empty Promises

Pros

Great, fun employees that make an effort to get to know you

Cons

Management plays "favorites" among the departments. Some departments get large amount of perks & benefits (free gym memberships, free dinner every night, travel, etc.) but other departments are expected to operate without such benefits or the support needed to do their job. Management doesn't think that employees will talk amongst each other in a time where it is not taboo to discuss money/salary, benefits, etc. anymore. They use flashy events and perks like stocked fridge and coffee bar, company conferences, boat cruises, hunting events, travel opportunities, happy hours, golf events, etc. to cover up the fact that they don't pay you enough to get by, promise raises and then don't follow through. They encourage you to live at their properties for a "discounted rent" rate but refuse to acknowledge that your salary wouldn't even cover rent let alone other living expenses. Boasts that they have a 40% turnover rate annually but refuses to do anything to fix that problem.

Pros

While it's clear that the company is making positive strides, it currently maintains a highly corporate culture that might not resonate with everyone. **Pros:** - The company appears to be on a promising trajectory. - Strong emphasis on a structured system, such as EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System). - Opportunities for standout performance and recognition. - Solid pay but a bit below industry average

Cons

**Cons:** - Limited autonomy and independence for employees. - Adherence to a somewhat outdated EOS system. - A potential challenge for those not fully aligned with company values. - An environment where favoritism or excessive meetings can be commonplace. - Notable corporate politics present. - Shady business dealings. *Note: This review is intended to offer constructive feedback for potential improvements within the company culture.*

Toxic Culture, no time to train

Pros

You get lots of different hats to boost your resume

Cons

In my experience, the culture here is incredibly toxic. There is a lot of favoritism and spotlighting employees who give up their life outside of work and dedicate their all to the company. Different departments get different perks and vast pay disparities. I experienced the owners shut down diversity initiatives. I’ve also seen employees who are considered rising starts be demoted or denied promotions and forced out of the company for not upholding the toxic culture. I’ve experienced many new employees get lost in the shuffle because there is no time for training and the new employees have been put on a PIP for not meeting expectations that were not clearly set out for them.
