Pros
Remote work was the main benefit, and my SEG manager provided great mentorship while I navigated a difficult client.
Cons
They promise you’ll be hired by the client or quickly placed elsewhere, but that never happened. When the client ended my contract, SEG offered no severance or transition support. The workload is heavy, commissions are easily undercut, and burnout is high. My direct manager was great, but overall there’s little long term growth, a lot of micromanagement, and you can be terminated without warning. The experience felt more profit driven than people focused and there’s no job security. Also didn’t like lack of diversity in leadership I think it creates a barrier in inclusivity, support, and fair advancement opportunities.
