Pros

Lots of time off from low patient census. Nice benefits, family costs under $200/month and small copays.

Cons

Management is NOT supportive, small hospital, poor charting system, frequent mistakes, lots of new grad RN's without experience and without support, low pay with minimal raises, would not trust this hospital to care for my family. Some nurses are amazingly wonderful, others very much like high school cliques and snobby. Huge turnover, hire and as soon as employees can, they leave. That says something about the company.

Pros

small culture, good community care, very involved with community and its success, Feel heard when voicing frustrations and/or new ideas, solutions. Upper admin respects and collaborates with middle management roles.

Cons

Wear lots of "hats" in my role, since it is a smaller place, and that makes it overwhelming at times. Lower wages, since a smaller place. Less established protocols, but that is rapidly changing with input from stakeholders.
