There is a heavy emphasis on work/life balance at SEH. They’re all in on their work from anywhere policy which is great for accommodating a busy personal schedule. The staff I’ve interacted with across different offices and states have all been great and senior staff and project managers carry a lot of knowledge. There’s a bunch of resources in-house for learning and development and recently there’s been a company wide push to update administrative/accounting software to make the average employee more efficient. In my humble opinion, I also think the pay is solid. Needless to say, there’s a lot to like!

Onboarding is confusing and left me with more questions than answers. I did not feel setup for success, administratively speaking. The supervisors are responsible for Human Resources tasks and there are a lot of information gaps after your first day. Plan to be proactive to find the resources or people necessary to answer questions about health insurance, the HSA, your first check, timesheet violations, etc. The health insurance can cost a pretty penny on the family plan. There’s whispers that they are reviewing this benefit, so to their credit they are at least listening to feedback.
