Pros

No pros come to mind.

Cons

The RTO policy is unfair. Employees who have always been remote are being forced to report to an office 3 days per week without any pay adjustments. HR is considered the villain even though our ELT made this decision. Reaks of their privilege. Impacted HR employees are expected to sell this policy change, but HR leadership hasn't given us the courtesy of acknowledging how we feel. While we celebrate that others get to share their opinions openly even though it isn't aligned with the enterprise approach, we can not. That would be career-ending for us. The weight of cleaning up the ELTs mess they caused and leaked is too much. Plus, endless tracking and changes and tracking and changes....no answers. Simply, "we expect people to leave and we're okay with that". Sound like an employer you'd want to work for?

Pros

You have a job Remote

Cons

Micromanaging Managers being promoted from departments that have nothing to do with the new department they’re managing Under a microscope for every little thing. Training doesn’t teach you anything you actually need to work Management doesn’t know and puts it on you to figure out Pissed out employees day and night. Hard working employees punished for slackers Slackers kissing boots so overlooked by management The pay compared to the work is mediocre Quarterly meetings to say how great the company is doing and greasing CEOs pockets meanwhile the bonuses are mid and locality pay isn’t offered There’s no consistency amongst leadership. One leader says one thing the next another which equals write ups.
