Pros

Decent dental insurance, easy to get hired as a seasonal.

Cons

You are on the phone all day so you have almost no opportunity to interact with your co-workers. It is very difficult to get anyone to help you if you have questions. Everything you do is monitored; your calls are recorded and scored, the percentage of time you are logged into the phone is calculated to the point where you begin to feel like you shouldn't take the time to go to the bathroom. The differential in pay from TSR to CSR is only fifteen cents which is insulting. Annual increase is around 15-20 cents per hour. The customers are ANGRY, I've never seen anything like it. You have to bend over backwards and take it. When a catalog is coming out they require the full time employees to work 48 hours per week; however if it's not as busy as expected they start sending people home. One day I was sent home after 2 hours; didn't even make enough that day to pay for my gas. I would not encourage anyone to work there.

Pros

Wonderful people! Peer reviews. Must be a Vermont Resident, but any where in VT will do. Excellent training and support. Steep discounts for employees. Talk to people all over the country. Many Vermont and USA made products. Regular breaks for stretching and 1/2 hour lunch.

Cons

Need your own high speed internet, and the pay is not great, but when you factor in the savings on gas and mileage it's not bad. If you are full time they force you to work overtime in November and December which is why I only worked part time. Part time employees are only guaranteed 20 hours per/week during the off season.
