Pros

• Many capable and hardworking colleagues • Opportunity to work on large enterprise platforms • Experience in a complex, regulated financial environment

Cons

• Continued team degradation and declining morale. • Promised compensation increases often fail to materialize despite strong performance and positive reviews. • Frequent turnover in technology leadership, with new executives regularly introducing ambitious transformation plans while simultaneously reducing staff for cost savings. • Expectations remain high even as staffing is reduced, creating unrealistic workloads and predictable delivery challenges. • Staffing reductions continue while the same pace and volume of product delivery is expected. This environment can be difficult for employees who value transparency, realistic planning, anadherence to Agile methodology and leadership accountability.

Pros

A few of my teammates will be my friends for life.

Cons

Training is often outdated and does not prepare you for your role. They constantly talk about being able to transfer and or be promoted yet it’s just a ploy to keep you. If you have an emergency and need to relocate there aren’t any placement benefits so essentially you must try your best to find a job on your own. Not to mention there is no guarantee you will be selected. You interview like an external candidate and the interview questions do not necessarily align with the actual position. There’s no way to prepare for interviews either due to the vague copy and paste job description. Unattainable metrics imposed after poor training and no way to dispute surveys.
