A small company (larger in this particular business) with ever changing structures, systems and turnover. Small companies do have change, especially when they are working out kinks and trying to keep processes streamlined. However, there comes a time where too much change is concerning.
The past six months have been a whole company restructure, implementation of a new CRM system, incorporating a whole other company under Walter's wedding estates and acquiring wedding venues left and right. These things were done with very little comprehensive training, terrible communication from executive members and change in compensation (an alarming amount of employees losing their job or moved to hourly vs. salary) and resulted in a huge turnover. It was simply too much to handle at once. The COO's outlook on trying to fix problems and implement new ideas is taking that idea, without much think-through and word vommitting it on those who need to implement it and putting a short deadline on it.
The vision in the company is in the right place but the leaders are not strategically placed nor is most of the exec team on the same page with… really anything.
Also, the lack of diversity in the company is alarming.
