      1. Great benefits 2. Very good working environment with a great deal of options for future opportunities and movement within the organization. 3. Feel what I make is competitive especially right out of school. 4. extremely flexible work schedule. can balance your hours very easily (at least for salaried). the 4/10 schedule allows me to have fridays off, which is nice.

      1. Ultimately you are working for the government, things move slower than one may like. 2. Bureaucracy

      Great Benefits, Great People, Great onboarding experience.

      Cons

      Once I got to my position after onboarding there was a lot of animosity and what felt like competition. I would say that if you are going to work here maybe try and know someone there before you jump in,

      - Four 10-hour workdays weekly, plus time balancing - Very strong job security - Work-life balance is very good - Work culture is good, the people are very down-to-earth and relaxed - The work supports an important, meaningful mission

      - DoE work pacing is very slow at times - Opaque promotion system that seemingly rewards less experienced new hires much more than long-term employees, with respect to time in grade
