Pros

Great people, senior level talent, nice compensation. Fun extras like swag. Unreal Engine is an amazing product. You will learn a lot working here.

Cons

Ethics. Their values have eroded over the years. DEI initiatives were canned. They are now over-sexualizing female characters in game. They make unrealistic demands with what we should do and the timeline on which we should do it. We always release products too quickly, then end up with critical bugs and a bad reputation. They ask you to do work above your level, then don't give you any promotions. They'd rather hire someone from outside into a role than promote from within. Tim Sweeney is a disaster online, an embarrassment.

Pros

+ Excellent benefits + Really cool people to work with + Projects are exciting, if stressful

Cons

- Project/Product Management isn't consistent across teams, making it really hard to collaborate between the tech teams. There's no real top-down facilitation of Scrum or other SLCD - As you probably are aware, the company has had multiple layoffs. Job security is in flux
