Pros

This company is growing and learning from their mistakes. The company is working on cleaning up all of the disorganization and the relationships with clients have become better. The training is new but it seems to be descent for both recruiting and sales. The environment was nice and everyone seems to get along with each other.

Cons

The owner is a hot head and can be very rude as well as inappropriate. The staff says he has become better over the years but cursing at employees or writing inappropriate emails to staff who have been there for many years is just completely out of line. Since the company is small there is no true HR you can speak to regarding your concerns. The sales & recruiting team constantly discuss the owners behavior. The owner treats the senior people like crap and is constantly threatening their jobs. The job would not be so bad if the owner was not so greedy (which the staff is constantly discussing including management) and had realistic expectations. The people who have been there for years deserve more praise. I think the owner fails to realize that when he sends out nasty emails regarding people that they end up getting circulated. If the owner could control his mood swings I think it has the potential to be a decent place. It seems like everyone is intimidated by him and views him as a jerk. I know they are adding people and hiring new recruits. The company claims to set clear expectations but when it comes down to it they do not stand by the expectations they set.

We want to ensure our employees feel like they have a means to communicate any and all questions and concerns regarding aspects of our work environment and/or their jobs at any time. As a result, in 2015 we are initiating quarterly employee engagement surveys. All employees will be asked to anonymously respond to these surveys on a quarterly basis, so our Management Team can use the feedback to determine areas for change or improvement. Additionally, for those employees who do feel comfortable reporting any questions and concerns they have to either our HR Manager or any other member of the Management Team, we have and are emphasizing communicating our open door policy.

Pros

Nice office atmosphere, some good people on the team

Cons

Management points fingers versus working through issues, what the company sells is not what they offer in many cases, a negative working environment

Thank you for this feedback. As a practice, we work to have an open door policy, encouraging our employees to bring feedback to management as it occurs. Additionally, we hold all company quarterly update meetings to provide our employees transparency into our company's goals, objectives and important initiatives. We welcome any questions or further discussion about this to be directed to MacKenzie Porwoll at mporwoll@pmgservices.com.
