Pros

Good equipment, friendly work colleagues. Plenty of hometime. No pressures worth mentioning.

Cons

Foodliner does NOT support it's drivers, at all, EVER ! Work and wages started off good but gradually decreased to the point where I couldn't even meet my bills and rent and if you want to earn any money at all you'll be unloading during your 10hr break. Hometime is good but I expect to work Monday to Friday and sometimes had 2 weekdays at home due to lack of work. Dispatchers are mostly young guys without experience and still wet behind the ears and show some favouritism. My termiinal manager would have given Hitler a run for his money, lost his cool at the drop of a hat and screamed at everyone face to face and on the phone and didn't back his drivers (a general company trait). He had no people skills at all. Also shortchanged you on any PO time you had coming Mechanics I met weren't mechanics they were fitters/grease monkeys, apart from the one at Blair NE. They're good for oil/filter changes, that's it ! Everything they did apart from standard services came with a legacy and had to be fixed again by me within days. Anything that happens will be YOUR FAULT and you'll be written up at the drop of a hat and I do mean anything ! All in all Foodliner looks to be a good company at first glance but in fact is pretty damn crappy. My advice .... steer clear of them.

Pros

Good office people to work with, starting pay is OK

Cons

On call all the time, work long hours with little support for anyone. Upper management will not support you, they are mostly just YES men to owners. And this is the least diverse company to work, every main decision maker is a older, while male.
