Pros

Pay is above average for an entry level job Benefits are good - except 401k. The company offers to match but doesn't because it misses profit targets. Customers are the best in the world (for the most part)

Cons

No formal training program for new hires. I spent 6 months without any formal training beyond how to use the computer system. Retail process or procedures are not fully documented or poorly documented. Order entry system is designed for a call center, not a retail environment. Order entry takes longer the necessary to be effective at the cash wrap.

Pros

There are a lot of free lunches. The accounts that you work with are the only great thing about this company.

Cons

Management doesn't respect their employees. You are seen as just another number. It is a very sexist environment and raises are minimal. They say they match 401k but that's not true. It is one of the most negative environments I have ever worked in and goals are unrealistic as well as the commission structure. They also want to make the customers think they care but in reality the service from most of the RAE's is minimal to none. This place is really a joke and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy to work at.

Pros

The greatest feeling is assisting those who protect and serve. You truly live out their vision to help public safety officials get what they need to do their job.

Cons

Training sucks! You get no formal training, then have to struggle on the floor as you assist customers. Everyone else is busy and cannot answer your questions so you just struggle through it.
