Pros

The pay is okay for beginners wanting to gain experience. The everyday workload is manageable. The company offers decent benefits, they have supportive supervisors, the training was amazing. You are never w/o support because you work with team members that are all facing the same challenges or have experienced them. And this helps get your questions answered.

Cons

The pay rate is low and I've heard that there isn't opportunity for raises. The commissions are mid. You must make 50+ enrollments/ monthly for decent commissions payout. The commission structure isn't details when you get your checks. If you miss a day w/o using your pto they require you to makeup the hours later in the week. You must have 40 hours at the end of the week.

Do not come in as leadership or at all

Pros

It’s definitely depends on what campaign you’re on because they are not equal.

Cons

If you are not buddies with your Manager you will be bullied out. You have to fight for your agents to be seen as humans. You get used for what you can do well and overwhelmed with busy work that affects your coaching time. You told to coach ppl out not up and there is no leadership training whatsoever.

Incompetent Staff

Pros

Remote, and allegedly has a flexible schedule

Cons

I’ve seen a lot in my career, but I’ve yet to see such a tone deaf, micromanaged training environment. They will blatantly ignore questions and answer as if they were a politician - There are a lot of non answers. Our trainers have demonstrated ill-preparedness on each day. Most questions are referred to Supervisors we aren’t assigned to yet, or their RAMP program, which hasn’t started. This creates an environment with awkward pauses of the trainer asking if we have questions, and no one wants to ask any. Most questions are basic, and there’s an overall lack of knowledge, with a rushed style training. We are told that we’re the “elite” class of hires, yet they do not have adequate systems, information, or communication between departments. This style of training does not make sense, and I’m sharing for prospective applicants. Stay safe out there! List: Incompetent training team, lack of Medicare knowledge, passive aggressive answers, poor communication between departments, transparency eludes them, dishonest job description during hiring process, and tone-deaf training methods

Beware

Pros

Working Remotely from the comfort of your home. Do not have to drive to meet clients. They compensate you hourly with a small commission.

Cons

The training is really a bunch of slides they read to you for three weeks to a month. Nesting is for a week, and basically it’s more continuous reading. They say they will help you set up portals, but it never happens. They don’t tell you the commission structure until you on the sales floor because it is so low. It’s $10 per app, so that means you really have to sale a lot to see any decent money. If an agent is struggling, they will leave you on read, and expect you to keep the client on the phone until they are free again, by this time, the client is frustrated, and hangs up. Landscape and healthsherpa you need to figure out on your own. They will not take the time to help you get those portals set up. You cannot go over your two 15 minute breaks or your 30 minute lunch break. That will get you a coaching and lead to a write up. After AEP or OEP is over, they will either terminate you, or switch you to a different account. This job is for someone that is just starting out in sales, and who needs a lil compensation while learning. After you gain experience from here, my advice is to go somewhere else.

Pros

A biweekly paycheck of $20 an hour and mediocre health insurance.

Cons

The entire supervisory team and training team on all their campaigns needs to be evaluated, looked at coached trained at potentially invested into some higher education because who they have there are nothing more than a bunch of stay at home mom’s with high school, education’s, and little to no sales acumen. What a complete waste of time to sell for an organization that pays $10 for a Medicare advantage plan to which your customers are the poorest people in the country. The plans are absolutely garbage.
