Pros

- Above market payscale - Cutting edge technologies

Cons

- No Value for employee - Just cares about billing - Makes lot of false commitments while joining - Relocates employees saying company will reimburse everything but only does partial reimbursement - Dont take employee feedback/opinion and just keeps moving the empoyees between projects and cities. - Not many long term projects, not a preferred vendor for clients - Lot of politics and things work only by contacts and no policies defined

Pros

Company working on big data services and products. Some good technical people offshore. Two capable people in offshore leadership roles.

Cons

All the mid-senior & senior people practise Vanto. Search for Landmark Forum and read the NYT article. They have 4 day long meetings every 3 months. People in India attend these meetings at 7pm-4 am and for people in US it is 5am-2 pm. About 20 people are cramped into a 20x20 room for these meetings and typically a few unfortunate and (sometimes) inept employees are blamed publicly for all that is bad with the company. No client meetings the whole week. No time to speak with family. US workers are kept in a hotel that is fondly called the haunted house. These meetings are conveniently scheduled around weekends with no consideration for the family commitments of employees. The company pretends that it is a product company though not even 2% revenue is from products. Extremely stingy expense policy. Ridiculous benefits & vacation policy.

Horrible company with exploitative culture

Pros

Adequate pay and benefits for US-based employees. Scrupulous adherence to the letter of the law when it comes compliance issues.

Cons

Outsourcing at it's worst. Employees based in India are paid slave wages compared to their US-based counterparts. Clients are charged US rates for outsourced labor, with the profits lining the pockets of the inner circle. Micromanagement is rampant and employees are constantly treated like potential thieves. Excessively frugal policies which are penny-wise and pound-foolish. Traveling employees are expected to finance company operations out of their own pockets and pray that these zero-interest loans are reimbursed without challenge in a timely manner. Nepotism is rife with unqualified individuals occupying senior leadership positions due to family connections. Senior leadership are all members of the Landmark Forum, which uses cult-like tactics and emotional manipulation to pressure senior staff into joining. CEO owns several other businesses with dubious ethics, one of which produces spyware and sells it to 3rd world dictatorships.
