Pros

The company offers excellent training opportunities and strong benefits.

Cons

I enjoy working for this company; however, I believe employees would greatly benefit from salary increases and fair adjustments, especially considering the increased workload without corresponding pay raises.

Pros

Some of the benefits are good- but they are expensive.

Cons

Workload is insane- the new company line is that we will no longer have a 5 tour cap each day. The reason we have a cap on the total number of tours per day is so that we are able to be present in our schools and mange the day to day. Even 5 hours of a 9 hour work day being tours is too much but atleast doable if necessary. More than that is insane. We will be unable to help keep the families that we enroll because we will be too busy to assist them. Lack of pay. Lack of acknowledgment of the amount of work assigned. Sales forward not family forward. New education system is less involved, does not come out early enough for us to be able to properly implement it. Overworking staff leads to burnout. There is no tangible recognition in this company unless you are higher than a director. We are unable to give our staff gifts/lunches. The instruction to have a holiday party/ team building activity is that staff have to pay or if we’re doing a meal that the staff should bring in food like a potluck. That’s not appropriate. Cleaning is an issue and is very high up on the company’s list of requirements but we are not given adequate time/ staff to do so. Teachers are somehow supposed to get everything done at nap time- assessments, lesson prep, cleaning, answering parent messages all while hoping the class sleeps for an hour and a half.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We hear your concerns about workload, pay, recognition, and resources. Your points about balancing tours with daily responsibilities, staff support, and the need for tangible investment in both teachers and facilities are important. Leadership will review these insights as we continue to evaluate ways to support staff, improve working conditions, and prioritize the children and families in our care. Your dedication and perspective are greatly appreciated.

Pros

I have been with Learning Care Group for 18 years and became a Certified Master Teacher in 2016. Throughout my time with the company, I have had the opportunity to grow professionally while doing what I love—helping young children learn and develop. One of the things I appreciate most about Learning Care Group is the strong focus on early childhood education and the support provided to teachers. The company offers ongoing training and professional development, which has helped me strengthen my teaching skills and continue growing in my career. Programs like the Master Teacher initiative encourage educators to lead, mentor others, and share best practices across classrooms. The work itself is incredibly rewarding. Every day I get to build relationships with children and families and play a role in helping children develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. The environment is caring and collaborative, and many of the educators I work with truly care about making a difference in children’s lives. Overall, it has been a meaningful and fulfilling career for me, and I’m grateful to be part of a company that values education, teamwork, and the positive impact we can make on children and families every day. We have an extraordinary supportive team environment, professional development opportunities, meaningful work with children and families, opportunities to grow as an educator.

Cons

Like many roles in early childhood education, the work can be busy and demanding at times, but the relationships with the children and families make it worthwhile. Pay increases can sometimes be gradual, and I do feel that raises don’t always keep pace with experience or tenure of my position. They do offer insurance benefits but I do feel that over the years they have not only increased in the price but the care of providers has significantly decreased and we do not have as many options to choose doctors. My child’s pediatrician she has had for 15 years is no longer available on my plan, which was extremely heartbreaking.

Thank you for sharing your detailed experience. It’s clear that your 18 years with Learning Care Group have been deeply rewarding, especially through professional growth, building strong relationships with children and families, and contributing to a collaborative, supportive environment. Your achievements as a Certified Master Teacher and your involvement in mentoring others highlight the meaningful impact of your work. We also appreciate your constructive feedback regarding pay progression, benefits, and the challenges that come with a busy early childhood education role. Your advice about the importance of engaged, communicative leadership reinforces how much a supportive management team contributes to staff morale and quality care. Your reflections underscore both the rewarding aspects of this career and the areas where continued attention from management can make a difference.
