Pros

I've worked here for YEARS, through two company transitions and various system changes. I am giving low rating but at the end of the day at least I don't want to kill myself because I can control what I do and only do what I believe is right. We help veterans everyday, a lot of great people in the office, and so many potlucks!

Cons

1. Managers that don't know what they are doing. 2. Unrealistic delivery goals. 3. Managers that don't read staff emails. 4. Managers that don't wash their hands in the restroom, and come over trying to grab your hand. 5. Managers that reassign your work, forgot who they gave it to, and HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE. 6. Favoritism. 7. Not much ability to grow in the company from QA. You can hope for a SQA, OS or OM position when they become available but incompetent people get the positions and you're stuck going "seriously?!?!?" 8. Dumb managers that micro manage I. Order to hide how incompetent they are.

Pros

Helping veteran's is very rewarding. Most of the staff is very easy to get along with. Work is steady and quite busy most of the time with the opportunity to work overtime as soon as approved by supervisors.

Cons

The way things operate quite literally can change at 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon every other week. The better you are at your job, the less appreciated you are. There is blatant favoritism from management for certain employees based solely on how good they are at kissing butt.

Pros

1) INTEGRITY! This was the main attribute that drew me to want to work for QTC; it is a viable and visible integration in their core values and honestly, I found management to instill this value in how they corresponded with colleagues at all levels. 2) Rewarding employee's for going above and beyond...I received at least a dozen "SPOT" awards that all came with monetary appreciation. This inspired me to want to do more and give more knowing my efforts were being appreciated.

Cons

One thing, for 'me' was micro-managing...it was not an original issue in the first 6 years of employment, but was becoming quite overbearing at the end as changes in upper management were being introduced. Though I have respect for all managerial decisions because at my level I never knew or saw the 'big picture' I did not always agree with management choices because I don't think they were always aware of another bigger picture as well...it does work both ways in a lot of instances.
