Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback and for being with Lumistry for several years. We’re glad you’re seeing and feeling the benefits of the increased accountability and new work frameworks we’re putting in place. This is very much a redefining moment for the company, and it’s encouraging to hear from Team Members who are leaning into that change and helping shape what comes next. We also agree that change can be hard. Our goal is to support our Teams through it with clearer expectations, better communication, and a stronger connection between our work and the value we deliver to our Customers. We appreciate your encouragement to keep up the momentum. It truly is an exciting time to be at Lumistry, and voices like yours make a real difference.

Great Company with growing pains in launching new software

Pros

- Great Austin office location with parking - Good benefits, unlimited PTO (although there are employees that abuses it) - Mostly great coworkers, 90% of colleagues are hard working and enjoyable to be around and care about the company culture and mission. - There is a strategy to move the company forward with new products and changes in process, yes, it is uncomfortable for some that are used to coasting their way through life, but change requires hard work. - Hybrid policy is great, most people come in on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday - Continuous learning and skill development through free access of Udemy - Career growth opportunities, quite a few internal promotions in the last 2 years.

Cons

- With the company spending the last 3 years building new software and features there a lot of changes, expectations, and work. But there are a few employees that are dead weight (abusing hybrid policy, abusing unlimited PTO, logging on after 10/11 AM leading to colleagues having to cover for them) And these are usually the same ones that complain all day. - My manager needs to better manage certain people abusing unlimited PTO, there should not be someone on my team taking 4-8 times as much as others leaving us to cover for them. - Not enough enforcement set on deadlines and expectation on product and feature releases. - Release schedules/milestone often miss, bug issues, lack of robust QE/QA

Pros

I've been working at Lumistry for more than three years, and I can confidently say it's the best professional decision I've made to date. While there are many benefits to working here, I want to highlight three that really stand out: The People: At the end of the day, a company is its people, and Lumistry nails this. Everyone, from leadership to individual teams, is genuinely kind, driven, collaborative, and always willing to help. Leadership brings a great mix of experience and fresh thinking, and they’re not afraid to chase bold ideas or take smart risks to move us forward. The Mission: I love that we’re so focused on helping independent pharmacies better serve their patients. Pharmacies are an underutilized and often overworked part of our healthcare system, yet they hold incredible potential to help address the affordability and accessibility challenges plaguing the U.S. and beyond. Growth-opportunities: With Lumistry’s PE backing, growth is engrained into how we operate, whether that’s expanding through acquisitions or developing new products. But it’s not just about business growth. There’s also a real focus on helping people grow, with thoughtful training, career conversations, and opportunities to take on new challenges. It never feels stagnant here.

Cons

Given the mission here and evolving nature of healthtech, priorities can shift quickly so it can be hard for some to keep up and stay agile. Despite the pace of decision-making, work life balance is excellent here with unlimited PTO and managers that are respectful and mindful of people's personal lives.

Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review. We're so glad to hear that your time at Lumistry has been the best professional decision you've made—it means a lot to know you're finding purpose, growth, and strong connections in your work here. You highlighted three things that are core to who we are: • Our People – We're proud of the culture we've built together and the way our teams show up for each other with kindness, collaboration, and bold thinking. • Our Mission – Supporting independent pharmacies is both meaningful and necessary, and we’re energized by the opportunity to help them deliver more accessible, affordable care. • Growth – You're right—growth at Lumistry is multifaceted. Whether it's strategic expansion or professional development, we’re committed to creating a place where people can do their best work and continue to evolve. We also appreciate your note on the pace of change. It’s a fair point, and we’re mindful of finding the right balance between agility and focus, especially as we innovate in a dynamic industry. Lastly, your encouragement around PMS integrations and platform development is spot on. We’re excited about the impact it can have for our customers and the broader market. Thanks again for being a valued part of Lumistry and for sharing your experience.
