Pros
Vendors are great and easy to get along with, nice campus, exposure to technology such as Tableau and MicroStrategy were great experiences
Cons
Constant shifts in merchant planning and sales are reactionary and merchants, managers are always looking for a scapegoat. Constant turnover in department made ever increasing workload feel like peak season all year round. Management would throw man hours at problems rather than hiring and retaining staff to be able to handle the workload. The department is almost always first in, last out.
