Amazing place to work for claims
Pros
Right after graduation from high school I started as an intern with no claims experience just 2 years in my Risk Management class, some certifications, and some college credits. The claims team welcomed me with open arms and never got frustrated with my questions I asked and still do. If anything we all get a little excited to hear about each others claims and its a great feeling to know your not annoying anyone with questions. If anything they encourage to expand your knowledge and asking lots of questions comes with the claims department since no claim is the same. Everyone in the building no matter from what team is super nice and is happy to get to know you. I've never seen such an amazing work culture. The company also offers many benefits. Some of my favorites is the Thrive Pass where you get some money to help focus on your mental health each month or the random small bonus you may get. I'd also like to mention that if you're struggling your team will help support you, including your team lead / manager. We together come up with solutions and since the department I work in deals with claims we also always try to find ways to make each other laugh. It helps release some of our frustrations they we might have from the day or week.
Cons
The claims team doesn't get much recognition which can be frustrating but having such an amazing team with great managers can definitely make up for it.
