Corporate Offices - No Leadership, Not Recommended

Pros

They money was good. That's where the positive comments end. If you are considering working for this company, reconsider.

Cons

Upper management had no back bone and they didn't have the confidence to say no to overlapping project requests, promised with unrealistic time-frames. This of course landed in the laps of the worker bees who would stay up all night and work every weekend to meet the deadlines. Management did not take the time to analyze the true business needs to determine if training was the right solution. But even worse was the fact that standards and measurements where non-existent. That's unacceptable for a 20-year old company. There was also a complete lack of awareness of how much time and energy goes into planning effective training. Middle management lacked support and leadership and they were also set up for failure by their bosses. And don't think you will have any type of career at OTG, as people drop like flies...either because they're fired or they leave because they just can take it anymore. It's an extremely toxic place to work, period.

Pros

The food and benefits are good. Has good 401k and awesome medical dental and vision too. In all honesty those are the only pros that come to my mind.

Cons

You will work 70 hour weeks and still get told you're doing a terrible job. Vacation time and holidays? Forget about it. If you want no work life balance working with one of the most disorganized senior level management this place is for you.

Pros

I learned more in 9 months here than 6 years at my last company. Namely, how not to treat people and how to get things done in u unreasonable time frames with limited staff and resources and unresponsive upper management. Your next job will almost certainly be better paid and seem easy by comparison.

Cons

There is no plan or organization. Changes in policy and procedures will be handed down the day they are expected to go live with no resources to achieve the goal. Hourly staff turnover is high. Management turnover is high. You'll be on call at all times. If you are in operations then god help you. Hr is a joke and doesn't keep the same hours as the staff they manage, and the support departments will not deliver. Burnout is high, and corporate likes firing people to send a message. Average tenure for a restaurant or market manager is about 6 months. The 5 star reviews on here are written by the HR department.
