      Pros

      Employee owned company (ESOP) with a family type atmosphere. Great work schedule M-F and almost never work weekends. Most Employees have been with the company 10+ years.

      Cons

      Salary is lower than average. With employees staying with the company so long it leaves little room for advancement especially in the IT Department but would be a great place for an entry level position.

      Our work-life balance is something that we take a lot of pride in being able to give to our employees. Even though many of our hourly rates may be average, we make up for this with our benefits. Our ESOP is something very unique and we also give quarterly bonuses, 401k with a company match, health benefits,and PTO. On average, our benefits make up 25% of an employee's total compensation.

      Pros

      I have been here for almost 2 years. I have had two promotions and a ton of opportunity for growth. I came into this job not knowing anything about the industry, but learned quickly that product knowledge comes with time. However, Palmer Donavin is looking for people who are willing to work hard and have great customer service. The management notice who puts in the work and says yes to every opportunity. This is has been a great job that is turning into a lifelong career.

      Cons

      Training could be more hands-on and extensive.

      Pros

      Very family oriented company to work for. Management takes the time out of their day to listen to your opinion. Great atmosphere! There is always a chance for you to learn and do something new!

      Cons

      Some of the training process' could be better, sometimes your days can be stressful.
