In order to be successful you need to live to work. Twelve - fourteen hour days will be the norm Monday through Friday. You will have to use your Saturdays and Sundays as well just to keep up. Executive Vice President is very smart but will belittle you, and keep you in a constant state of fear for your continued employment. Over the past year, at least 8 regionals have come and gone.

Because we are a sales organization, we do work very hard every day to guarantee that we are providing an exceptional work experience for our associates, as well as a phenomenal management experience for our clients. At times, the inherent demand to balance those two sides can be very challenging to a handful of associates. There are no pros! They pretend to be open to feedback and then fire or seek revenge on employees when it is given.

Cons

Micromanaging, abusive leaders that cause constant turn-over. One regional in particular has lost 5 managers in less than a year- add the maintenance team and leading staff he's run off and your looking at over 10 people!

Pros

Pegasus allowed me to take unpaid time off. They seem to treat the girls who like high heels well. Pay isn't horrible for the area, even if it's lower than average for the position.

Cons

Pegasus residential is full of bullies. Everyone I met in the company seems to have severe brainwashing. They require high heels (leather pumps, peep toe but only 2 toes can show. You can only wear boots in the winter, and if you wear boots, you have to wear pants, you can't wear a dress.) I have witnessed them refuse rent from a family who was only 3 days rent and evict them just because they paid $100 under market and they could rent the apartment for more. The goal rent increase at renewal time is 10%, but your job will be threatened when resident retention doesn't stay high.

Thank you for taking time to write a review of Pegasus. We do have a dress code at Pegasus that is enforced so our associates properly represent our professional environment. Resident retention, high occupancy and acquiring the maximum amount of rent for a particular market for our ownership groups is actually what our business involves.
