They make no attempt to retain essential staff during an acquisition. If your company is being acquired, please consider moving to another company. I too read these glass door reviews but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. There is a reason that their score is 3.1 as of writing this review. Run.
- They "run lean" with high profit margins regardless of what that takes.
- Maintain an attitude that allows them to remain "comfortably obfuscatory"
- You can have 3 managers within two weeks, some of them can be your current peers!
- Lack of experience is not a barrier to entry with regards to working at Progress. In fact, if you are inexperienced, that is a positive.
- Keen followers of the Peter Principle.
- Gut businesses and hope to retain any of the customers to continue to make money while killing innovation and moving as many jobs to India as possible.
