Good company

Business Outlook

Pros

Excellent benefits package, compensation is strong. Company is expanding into more and more new states and has been very profitable for many years which I feel has allowed them to pass down strong pay and benefits to the employees. I do feel well taken care of.

Cons

Work load can be heavy in peak months and there are growth goals the company needs to hit so you will work to contribute towards those.

Great place to work

Pros

A lot of remote positions. You don’t get micromanaged if you get your work done. Flexible hours. Inclusivity. Treated as a person, not a number or “alias” Option to buy stock in the company.

Cons

It’s insurance.. lol Can get extremely busy at certain times and hard to maintain work load.

Great work environment

Pros

Wonderful people to work with. Supportive management.

Cons

Work load doesn’t match the pay. You could be handling way more than you had originally started with (almost doing other employees jobs as well), and still get paid almost exactly the same- for years.

RUN!

Pros

Good salary is the only good thing

Cons

The work load is completely unmanageable. You’ll be lied to in your interviews that you will have X amount of claims pending and then it will be DOUBLED when you get into the position. You’ll be told there is growth opportunity when there really isn’t. You WILL NOT receive training. At all. On day one they will give you new claims on top of over 100 new claims transferred to you from other adjusters who are drowning in work. Upper management sees it but chooses to do nothing about it. RUN, don’t walk away from this company. The job isn’t worth the salary they offer to you.
