Pros

Strong work-life balance with supportive flexibility in day-to-day operations. Opportunity to work with talented colleagues across different regions and functions. Good exposure to enterprise sales, channel management, and cybersecurity/IT operations solutions. Collaborative culture where many team members are willing to help and share knowledge. Competitive compensation and benefits compared to the market. Valuable experience for those looking to grow their careers in technology sales

Cons

Frequent organizational changes and restructuring can create uncertainty. Decision-making can sometimes be slow due to multiple approval layers. Internal communication around strategy and account ownership could be more consistent. Partners and customers may occasionally experience confusion when expectations around pricing or channel engagement are not clearly aligned. Career progression opportunities may vary depending on business priorities and organizational changes.

Pros

Complimentary meal during RTO days and a nice workspace.

Cons

The management teams, both onshore and offshore, suffer from poor judgment and a toxic culture of power-tripping. Some leaders will openly embarrass or shout at you in front of your peers. If they dislike you, politics will be used to push you out of the company. Furthermore, the commission structure changes constantly and gets worse over time. Ever since the acquisition, the company has become incredibly greedy, focusing on squeezing money out of loyal customers, which has resulted in massive cancellation requests. Finally, there is zero leniency or flexibility with the RTO policy. Even though the CEO promises flexibility during town halls, local senior managers and directors will deny it, even in cases of family emergencies or severe typhoons. Working here has become incredibly toxic.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take concerns regarding leadership conduct, culture, and our operational policies very seriously. We’re glad you’ve enjoyed the workspace and complimentary meals, but we are deeply saddened by your comments regarding leadership behavior. Our first responsibility is to ensure a safe, respectful, and professional workplace where no Solarian feels intimidated or singled out. Professional conduct is expected of all Solarians, and we actively engage with our leadership teams to ensure they are consistently modeling our core values of collaboration, accountability, readiness, and empathy (CARE). Please know that leadership is not dismissing your review as an isolated complaint; we are treating it as critical input regarding employee trust and site culture in Manila. Regarding your comments on our post-acquisition direction and commissions, our recent transition to a Business Unit (BU) model was a strategic evolution to better meet the demands of the market and our customers. We acknowledge your frustration regarding the commission plans associated with this transition. We are actively reviewing how these plans are structured and rolled out to ensure they are fair, transparent, and clearly understood by the team. Furthermore, we want to be explicit regarding our hybrid work policy: our global guidelines absolutely intend for flexibility and empathy. We are committing to ensuring that exceptions are granted for family emergencies and local crises, such as severe typhoons, and we are reinforcing these expectations with local management to ensure our policy is modeled consistently and with appropriate empathy. We want to ensure all Solarians have a safe space to voice their concerns. Please reach out to your HR Business Partner directly so we can more effectively look into these matters.
